At this moment we are programming the machinery to fix the front of the company (Ternium) and do the top-up irrigation, since the machines are attending to landslides in various points in the department due to the start of the rainy season. ”says Cristian Arroyave, Secretary of Infrastructure.
In the Montaño sector, there were tree falls in recent weeks and They are analyzing, together with Corpocaldas, their pruning to avoid risks to road users. The Secretary of Infrastructure states that “we executed two kilometers of pavement, but the project is suspended, since we are carrying out an administrative procedure related to the incorporation of resources to have them available and support the agreement with INVÍAS and disburse them for the payment of the contractor’s minutesand until the resource is incorporated we cannot make the turn,” Arroyave adds.
The official adds that depending on the programming of the machinery, the section that leads to Brisas del Nevado will be intervened to keep the road in good condition. The execution of the work is 70 percent complete and, when the resources are available, the intervention will continue to have the road fixed within a period of two months.
The total price of the work is 22 billion pesos. In this way, it is expected that the resources will arrive to complete the intervention and thus the community in the sector can mobilize without problems.
