The victim was a motorcycle mechanic. Who was?
On Monday, May 6, in Fundación, Magdalena, a Styrofoam refrigerator was found in the middle of a public street. The people who were in the area approached to see what it contained and found with a dismembered corpse.
What caused the most shock among the neighborhood residents was the threatening message that the Styrofoam refrigerator had on the outside: “This is going to happen to all those who try to sell, spread drugs, collect extortion or any kind of illegal income, everything here belongs to the Cousins (…).”
The authorities arrived at the scene and continue with the corresponding investigation to clarify the facts.
“Inhabitants of the Vera Judith neighborhood of this town were the ones who alerted the Police about the discovery of the lifeless body of a man (Castro Contreras). The survey procedures are in charge of the CTI of the Prosecutor’s Office. “The Police set up an institutional component to try to clarify this fact and reach the perpetrators of this crime.”, said Colonel Javier Alberto Duarte Reyes, commander of the Magdalena Police Department, quoted by El Heraldo.

Who is the young man who was found dismembered in a Styrofoam refrigerator in Magdalena?
As revealed by El Heraldo, on its website, the authorities confirmed the identity of the body found dismembered in the Styrofoam refrigerator. The victim is the young Ever Andrés Castro Contreras, known by many as Sasi. Contreras was dedicated to motorcycle mechanics.
So far, the causes of the crime and further details about the young man’s death are not known.
The image of the Styrofoam refrigerator with the threatening message went viral on social networks and has dismayed many Internet users. Some users pointed out that: “The wave of violence in this country is killing us”, “My God, terrible that these things happen in Colombia” and “What a tragedy, this young man’s poor family.”
