SLEP suspended classes at Liceo Altos del Mackay due to failure in the water pump system – Santa María

The Local Education Service of the Aysén Region confirmed the suspension of classes at the Altos del Mackay High School, in the commune of Coyhaique, due to failures in the school’s water pump system.

Although it is not yet known whether this service can be restored soon, the Executive Director of SLEP assured that they are already working on a contingency plan in case the situation cannot be resolved between now and Friday, not ruling out being able to resume teaching activities in another space.

Let us remember that the SLEP took over the administration since January of this year, so they would be working on a project together with the Regional Government to be able to carry out a diagnosis of all the schools and high schools, in order to establish the current situation of each infrastructure.
