The Governor left a Digedrop headquarters in San Isidro de Lules, and another for the Investigations Brigade in La Reduction. He also delivered a truck and three motorcycles to reinforce the work of the investigative area.

The governor, Osvaldo Jaldo, This afternoon he visited the city of Lules, where he inaugurated two units of the Tucumán Police: Investigation Brigade and DIGEDROP. The first in La Rección, and the second, in San Isidro de Lules. During the official ceremony, a truck and three motorcycles were also presented to the Brigade.

The Governor, who was received by the local mayor, Marta Albarracinwas accompanied by the lieutenant governor, Michael Acevedo; the Minister of Security, Eugenio Aguero Gamboa; that of the Interior, Dario Monteros; the pro secretary of the Legislature, Alejandro Martínez; the Chief of Police, Joaquín Girvau; the Deputy Chief, Roque Inigo; the IPLA controller, Dante Losa; the legislators Carlos Gallia, Marcelo Herrera, Carlos Najar,
Walter Herrera, Alberto Olea, Hugo Ledesma and Francisco Serra; and the mayor of Tafí del Valle, Francisco Caliva; in addition to councilors and municipal officials.

“At Lules, great decisions have been made in a very important area such as Security. We are decentralizing these areas because we want to bring all services to residents wherever they live. That is why I want to thank Mayor Marta Albarracín because she was the one who led the efforts for Digedrop to be installed in her city and also for the Brigade to be in La Reduction. Two very important operational areas that have been decentralized, taking them inward, in this case Lules,” said Jaldo.

In that sense, the Governor considered that these decisions “generate greater security in the town and that translates into more tranquility. And just as we are doing it in Lules today we do it in many municipalities and communes of the Province. We know that we did a lot in terms of security but it is not enough, we are lacking. These decentralization decisions are what are going to help us. Because when these operational areas arrive, more personnel and more equipment arrive.”

Likewise, Acevedo insisted on the importance of the powers of the State working together to guarantee the security of the people. “It is a very important step in the guidelines that the Governor proposed at the beginning of his administration when he stressed that the pillars were going to be Health, Safety and Education. These two units that are installed inside highlight that commitment because this also means more personnel and more equipment in the area.

For his part, Agüero Gamboa remarked that “the premise that the Governor asked us to do is to bring the Police to all corners of the province, and with this decentralization we are bringing it closer, in this case, to Lules and La Reduction, but In addition, it is also carrying out joint work with the municipalities, which is another of the Governor’s requests.”

In turn, the mayor stated that “this is the work that the Governor asked us to do to ensure the safety of our neighbors and that is why we are very proud to be inaugurating these facilities.”

Finally, legislator Gallía added “this was a long-standing desire that today is becoming a reality thanks to the Governor, the Vice Governor and the management of the mayor, who is very clear about the path to follow in regards to Security.”
