Across the lush grounds of Bangladesh’s Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka and the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet, a total of ten formidable teams will engage in twenty-three riveting matches. Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 Groups and Format
In the tournament, each team is slated to compete in four preliminary-round matches. Subsequently, the leading two squads from each cluster will advance to the fiercely competitive semi-finals, scheduled for the 17th and 18th of October, culminating in the grand finale in Dhaka on the 20th of October. Here are the groups
Group A: Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka
Group B: South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Scotland
Altogether, the tournament will feature a total of 23 contests spanning 19 days in the cities of Dhaka and Sylhet. Reserve days have been allocated for the semi-finals and the final to ensure uninterrupted play in case of any disruptions.
