A serious situation is registered in the north of the department, which leaves several towns such as Albán, San Bernardo, La Cruz, Belén, Colón Génova and San Pablo cut off, where its inhabitants must look for alternative routes or travel along the old road to the north. passing through the municipality of La Unión.

In the Quiña Bridge sector, after heavy rains, the bench was lost on the main access road.

In dialogue with Caracol Radio, Gabriel Osejo, secretary of infrastructure, said that given the magnitude of the situation, an emergency could be declared and the suspension of the road would be ordered.

In the next few hours, a working group will be held with the authorities of the municipality of Albán to determine the measures, Osejo said.

The situation is worrying due to the effects that this emergency generates on the economy of the producers in the area and the usual dynamics of the towns that use the route for their daily activities.
