With an important participation from Catamarca, the 13th Federal NEOWORKSHOP was held this Wednesday, May 8, in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, organized by the Federation of Chambers of Tourism of the Argentine Republic in the rooms of the Marriott Hotel.

The event was focused on the traditional business rounds with participants from all provinces, including La Rioja, Chaco, Entre Ríos, Jujuy, Catamarca, Chubut, Córdoba, Tucumán, Buenos Aires, Mendoza and Misiones and with the presentation of destinations , where each province had the opportunity to exhibit their products and tourist attractions.

In this sense, the presentation of Catamarca, with its National and International Poncho Festival, captivated the public with its splendor, and everyone was invited to the largest winter festival in Argentina to be part of a great ten-day cultural event that combines crafts, flavors, music, dance.

The event was attended by the Secretary of Tourism, Environment and Sports of the Nation, Daniel Scioli, Yanina Martínez, Undersecretary of Tourism of the Nation and important businessmen in the sector. The Secretary of Tourism Management, Evangelina Quarín, was present for Catamarca, along with the director of Tourism Promotion and Services, Soledad Soria. Everyone agreed on the common desire for each of the destinations to continue growing and promoting the development of the regions.

As part of the Catamarca delegation, representatives of the private sector accessed spaces managed by the Secretariat of Tourism Management to integrate the classic business rounds between tourism providers in the provinces, generating new commercial links in search of the expansion of the product market. and destinations.Turis

In this regard, Marcelo Coll, representative of El Jumeal Viajes, said: “We have had very interesting business rounds with more than 15 highly positive meetings, we are satisfied with this management.” He also remarked: “It was a very positive week since at Tuesday’s meeting at Casa de Catamarca we had more than 50 agencies from all over the country gathered, thanks to the joint work of the Ministry of Tourism, the Casa de Catamarca in CABA and the sector. private, so it was a highly productive week.”

At the close of the day, the federal gastronomic exhibition was a true experience for the senses. Catamarca was represented there by chefs Bruno Agüero and Fernanda Aybar from the UTHGRA School, who presented typical dishes of the province’s traditional cuisine, among which you could taste local wines, olives, pickled hare, bruleado cheese, wild boar cured in corn bread, goat and corn burritos, quinoa cake, cocoa and candied orange, capias, gaznate and candied walnuts.

In this way, the 13th edition of the NEOWORKSHOP closed, where Catamarca was once again seeking to strengthen a destination that is booming and constantly growing.
