The Mayor’s Office of Cali, under the leadership of Alejandro Eder, has decided to maintain the implementation of the pick and plate scheme in the city. This measure, which restricts the circulation of private vehicles from Monday to Friday, allows all cars to circulate freely on Saturdays and Sundays.
It is crucial that Caleños stay informed about these restrictions, as violating the peak and plate can lead to significant financial penalties, exceeding $650,000, equivalent to 15 current legal daily minimum wages. In addition, vehicles that fail to comply with the regulations will be immobilized.
