This Sunday, May 19, at 04:10 in the morning, the Victoria Police Department Headquarters assisted in a traffic accident that occurred at the intersection of Camoirano Street, between Irigoyen and Piaggio. The accident involved a Citroën utility vehicle, Berlingo model, which was driven by a man accompanied by another, both employees of the Danipack company, located in Paraná.

According to initial investigations, the utility vehicle was hit by a blue pickup truck, which fled immediately after the collision. This crash caused the utility vehicle to lose control and end up crashing into a building in the area.

Firefighters quickly went to the scene of the accident to verify damage and possible gas leaks in the impacted square. Fortunately, the incident only resulted in property damage, with no injuries.

With the collaboration of the Radio Command and Investigations personnel, at approximately 5:00 in the morning, it was possible to locate the truck that had fled the scene of the accident. The vehicle, a Chevrolet model C10, was found parked on Rawson Street, between Liniers and Brown Boulevard. The truck belongs to a 51-year-old man, residing at the intersection of Rawson and Liniers streets.

The police mechanic, the investigator and the Criminalistics personnel intervene in the procedure, with the knowledge of the prosecutor’s office on duty, to continue with the pertinent investigations and determine the corresponding responsibilities in this traffic accident.
