Rodríguez visited the elderly in the Argentine Society

Mayor Alejandra Rodríguez visited the cooking workshop for Seniors taught at the Argentine Society. The objective of the workshop is to provide a space for support and support.

“It is a group that had already been taking courses, they started with the holiday camps and now they have expanded, there are cooking, sewing, painting, folklore courses and they are very happy to have a place to relax and share,” he indicated. Rodriguez.

The Department of Older Adults in charge of the Ministry of Social Development implemented a variety of workshops with activities that seek to promote the health, well-being and active participation of older adults in the community.

“We are very happy with how the workshops are developing. It was a summer camp and after the success and the call it had with people from Lomas de Tafí and Los Pocitos we decided to continue it all year round,” said Maximiliano Bevacqua, municipal representative accompanied by Myriam Moreno, in charge of the Department.

During the meeting they shared ideas and projects that are carried out from the municipal area. Thanks to the large participation, this group added different free workshops that are taught from Monday to Friday.

Those interested in joining can approach the Argentine Society or the Directorate of Older Adults, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
