In the interview, the foreign minister explained that “the dialogue with Venezuela is quite fluid. I have permanent contact with the chancellor of that country. “We have played a constructive role in the way in which we have been asked at the national and international level in the challenges that Venezuela faces.”

Regarding the questions about the Government’s position with Venezuela, Murillo said that you should not always pay attention to what is said.

“I cannot pay attention to everything they say in the congresses and assemblies of the countries. Imagine if I paid attention to everything that the congressmen of the United States or the members of Parliament in Spain or Canada say. They are government-to-government relations, and those relations are very cordial,” explained the head of the portfolio.

And he added that “You know that I was vaccinated in Chocó against insults. I don’t pay attention to that. I think that doesn’t lead to anything. I believe that in these cases you insult who you can and not who you want.”
