They confirm that the ski season in El Bolsón starts on June 29

With the heavy snowfalls that occur week after week in the mountain ranges, the Cerro Perito Moreno winter sports center is considering anticipating its opening by at least a week; For this reason, it will launch on June 6 in the capital of Córdoba, aimed at attracting domestic tourism, but without stopping to look at the Brazilian and Uruguayan tourists who already visit our ski slopes to a large extent, explained Julián Rudolph, director of winter sports. The pass in high season will cost $50,000 and the Perito Moreno hill offers more than 24 km of skiing, 16 slopes, 10 lifts and five gastronomic points.

The Plateau once again promises “the most charming part of the mountain”, with hundreds of hectares of virgin snow ready to enjoy with the family during the winter holidays.

The sports director of the complex, Julián Rudolph, announced today that “the amount of snow that is falling this year is impressive, for several days the machines have already been treading the slopes of the summit and we are eager to start the season.”

He added that “the expectation is to receive Brazilian, Uruguayan and Chilean skiers again, as happened last year,” while confirming that “on June 6 we will also be promoting in the city of Córdoba for the entire public in the center of the country , who has been visiting us in the summer and has expressed his interest in the ski center of the Andean Region.”

Another comparative advantage “will surely be the cost of the daily pass, which here will not exceed $50 and which makes us the cheapest ski center in Patagonia. There are also other promotions for residents in the region and for those who choose to skiing more days. In addition, in the same place people can access the rentals, ski and snowboard school,” he said.

He immediately stressed that “these are values that are consistent with a ski center that has grown a lot in recent years and has nothing to envy of other resorts in South America.”

Regarding the weather conditions, Rudolph insisted that “it does not stop snowing above 700 meters above sea level, winter has come quite early and every morning it surprises us with a new layer. The slopes are already being stepped on to put them in condition and guarantee good snow well into spring.”

For their part, tourism providers have been holding meetings to adapt accommodation and gastronomy rates “to the reality that the country is experiencing and with the expectation of having the best winter season.”

In the image we see two generations, Gerardo Rudolph, one of the creators of the Andino Piltriquitron club and at his side Julián Rudolph, his grandson, who today is the director of winter sports at Cerro Perito Moreno and the main promoter of white sports at the winter center, who at different times have worked tirelessly for the development of skiing in the region.

It should be remembered that the Andes Corridor vacation offer extends beyond the geographical limits of El Bolsón. In a few kilometers, you can enjoy the full potential of El Manso, the Lago Puelo National Park, the labyrinth and the wineries in El Hoyo or La Trochita in El Maitén. In addition, the possibility of going and returning during the day to Los Alerces National Park.
