25% of Chileans consider it a priority for the Government to forgive the State Guaranteed Credit (CAE)according to a survey by the consulting firm Plaza Pública-Cadem released this Sunday.

The sampling, carried out from 702 interviews, revealed that when asked “If more resources were allocated to education, do you think they should be allocated to…?” 56% answered that its quality should be improved; 36% to pay the historical debt of the teachers; 34% to improve school infrastructure; 26% to increase free higher education; a 25% forgive CAE debt; and 18% avoid dropping out of school.

As to the problems that exist in education, 33% responded that it is crime and drug trafficking, 29% the quality of educational plans, 25% carefree parents, 24% young people who do not value education, 15% that there is no merit selection in schools and 14 % that the municipalities are in charge of the schools.

The CAE appears seventh, with 11% of the mentions.

In the event that the Executive presents a bill for condonation, 62% believe it should be universal40% only for those who have their payments up to date and 4% only for those who have not paid their fees.

AFTER THREE WEEKS, BORIC’S APPROVAL REACHES 30%

According to Cadem, after three weeks, the approval of President Gabriel Boric reached 30%after rising two points in seven days.

In counterpart, disapproval reached 65%one point less compared to the previous survey.

Among the most valued attributes of the President that his figure presents is the promotion of gender equality (80%), care for the environment (60%) and their charisma (55%).

Meanwhile, among its most criticized characteristics are the weak in the fight against crime and drug trafficking (24%), in the conflict in La Araucanía (24%), in immigration problems (24%) and in experience to govern (17%).
