Enrique Galindo Ceballos, candidate of the Fuerza y ​​Corazón coalition for San Luis for mayor of the capital, presented the Government Plan and the Infrastructure Program for the next three years, which includes several bridges, an elevated viaduct in Sierra Leone, 1.2 linear kilometers at the height of the Santiago River, to relieve traffic in the Villa Magna area; as well as other road works, in addition to actions to face the water crisis.

The candidate for mayor of the capital pointed out that this is the most ambitious works plan that our city has had in more than 20 years, with which the capital will be modernized to promote the development and competitiveness of San Luis Potosí.

The mayoral candidate of PAN, PRI and PRD, announced six major road projects, including the vehicular bridge that connects Españita Boulevard with the Salvador Nava side, the expansion of lanes on Axis 140, with the construction of a second road body; the Sierra Leone elevated viaduct, 1.2 linear kilometers; the upper vehicular bridge of Fray Diego de la Magdalena and Hernán Cortés, the lower bridge Cordillera de Los Alpes – highway to Guadalajara and the connection of highway 57 and the highway to Rioverde. In addition, the continuation of the Vialidades Potosinas Program and another permanent patching program were announced.

The candidate for municipal presidency pointed out that this Government Plan and the Infrastructure Program “arose from touring the city, its neighborhoods, the markets, the flea markets. Meetings with people, with specialists, with universities, with women and with all the groups that make up the city. I realized during the campaign that for all the issues that people raised with me we had a response from the municipality and that will continue for the next three years.”

Enrique Galindo Ceballos explained that these large infrastructure plans will increase the competitiveness of the city of San Luis Potosí, making the capital a more attractive place for investments, which will lead to a better quality of life, greater security, less travel time and opportunities. more dignified jobs for the people of Potosí.

In the presentation of the infrastructure program for the 2024-2027 triennium, mayoral candidate Enrique Galindo pointed out that the Vialidades Potosinas program will rehabilitate and build 1.5 million square meters of streets and avenues; 35 thousand linear meters of drinking water network will be introduced with the hydrosanitary infrastructure program; In addition, 20 thousand square meters of sidewalks, walkways and pedestrian bridges will be improved and built.

Enrique Galindo pointed out that this public works program for the next three years is a commitment to mobility, with a vision for the future. It involves the rehabilitation of 29 large avenues and 221 neighborhood streets, which will reach 2.7 million square meters from 2021 to 2027, which would be equivalent to paving the Alfonso Lastras stadium field 378 times.

As part of the emerging patching program, 250 thousand square meters of streets will be rehabilitated; the De corazón mi casa program, with which 500 thousand square meters of facades will be painted; in addition to the Espacios Potosinos program, which will regenerate public spaces in deterioration and abandonment.

In addition, Galindo Ceballos announced the emerging drinking water program, with strategic works for the supply of domestic water, which include the preparation of geohydrological studies to detect underground bodies of water; obtaining permits and municipal rights, drilling deep wells, with the creation of regulation tanks, herons to feed pipes and electromechanical equipment.

Enrique Galindo Ceballos, candidate for mayor of the capital for the Fuerza y ​​Corazón por San Luis coalition, also announced his Government Plan, through five governing axes of government, such as “Water, a challenge for all”, with which will ensure that water scarcity does not become an obstacle to progress or a threat to health; Ten wells will be drilled to expand the coverage and availability of water for everyone; Greater treatment and reuse of wastewater will be promoted through the construction of treatment plants and incentives for the use of treated water in industry and construction. The second axis, “Strengthening the social fabric”, will focus on the creation of the Municipal Family Institute, to put the family as the engine for life, with love, solidarity, trust, identity and support; There will be specific programs and actions for social groups, such as the Health Route, Inclusive Municipal Parks, Youth Agenda, Sports Capital, Municipal Care Center for the Elderly and the Municipal Interdisciplinary Mental Health Center; In addition, San Luis Capital will be maintained as a Learning City to promote lifelong learning, creating healthy environments.

In the “Sustainable Capital” axis, more than 4 billion pesos will be allocated to the development of infrastructure; The street paving goal will be increased to 1.5 million m2 to improve streets and avenues in neighborhoods and communities; The Mobility Pyramid will be respected; A Trust to Strengthen the Historic Center will be created; The access of people and families with greater social disadvantage to urban facilities will be facilitated and an Environmental Agenda for the Capital will be followed, which includes the conservation of diversity and urban green areas, and planting 400 thousand trees and plants, the collection and municipal solid waste disposal, tactical lighting, removal of disused overhead wiring and animal welfare.

Regarding “Inclusive and sustainable economic development”, the Supply Fairs will continue to project San Luis in the context of the relocation of global value chains; A Trust to Strengthen the Historic Center will be created; will continue the promotion of the Puro Potosino brand; The Future Entrepreneurs project will be strengthened to support business initiatives of young people and women in more competitive and higher value-added sectors and the San Luis Capital brand will continue to be positioned, a destination for all associated with the promotion of family tourism and inclusive tourism, to attract new visitors.

Regarding the “Defending San Luis” axis, increase the number of Citizen Security Committees to strengthen communication and the participation of neighborhoods and communities in the safety of neighbors; The Tourist Police will be created to reinforce surveillance and security in the Historic Center and other tourist areas of the city; More high-definition smart cameras and real-time data analysis per quadrant will be used to make the response to criminal incidents more efficient; improve the organization and road order in terms of the Mobility Pyramid to advance the strategy of protecting the lives of pedestrians and people in electric and human-powered vehicles and civil protection will be strengthened, by managing that Firefighters become part of the institutional structure of the municipality.

In addition, there are five transversal axes: Rights and equity; Family perspective; Citizen participation; Procedures and regulatory improvement; as well as Government and digital city.
