Instituto broke its negative streak and finally achieved a victory at home after four games without winning in that condition by winning 2 to 1 against Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata for the fourth date of the Professional League tournament.
With two goals from Santiago and Gregorio Rodríguezfirst and second respectively, Gloria snatched the opportunity from Gimnasia to get closer to the top of the table that has Racing, Talleres and River as protagonists.
The Córdoba team, which had not been able to win in its stadium since the 2-0 victory against Huracán on the ninth round of the last League Cup, showed a better performance and was able to keep the three points on this occasion.
