The State Attorney General, María Manuela García Cázares, maintains efforts with the other security and justice authorities so that legality and order continue to be guaranteed in this last stage of the election day.
García Cázares commented that his staff distributed in the 58 municipalities remain expectant of any event that may occur at this stage of counting the ballots deposited in the polls. He highlighted that the deployment of his 800 elements who coordinated with other law enforcement forces was fundamental, since he considered that incidents with the appearance of crime were few.
The Prosecutor recognized the work of her collaborators who make up the Specialized Prosecutor’s Offices, Units and their Six Regional Delegations because during June 1 and 2 they continued to provide support to citizens who required it on issues related to electoral crimes.
The attorney general commented that the performance that the institution developed during this election season attracted good results since it was always contributing to the security strategy designed by the three levels of government.
Furthermore, he added that the work by the FGESLP that provided certainty and justice to the population emanated from the participation that took place in the Permanent Session of the Security Table in coordination with the 32 entities that make up the country.
