Governor Osvaldo Jaldo presided, in the company of the Minister of Education Susana Montaldo, the inauguration of the expansion works carried out at the capital school, which will have four new classrooms for the more than 80 students of the initial level. The Minister of Public Health, Dr. Luis Medina Ruiz, accompanied the opportunity.

On that date, the partial delivery of four classrooms was completed – three 5-year-old garden rooms and a first grade – a teachers’ room with a private bathroom and a disabled bathroom, which are part of the expansion, refunctionalization and general renovation, which includes furniture complete and games. Likewise, the overflow spaces, pergolas and outdoor equipment were created. The approximate investment is 200 million pesos.

The first provincial leader highlighted the effort required to enable the work of the school, which is rooted in “resources donated by a great hero like Belgrano,” since the establishment was donated by the General on March 31, 1813, as a result of the recognition that the State gave him for his triumphs in the Battles of Tucumán and Salta. At the same time, the governor thanked the entire educational community for their patience and support during the process.

The Minister of Public Health, doctor Luis Medina Ruizemphasized the importance and emotionality of the event of the date: “Precisely in the celebration of the birth of our General Manuel Belgrano, being able to inaugurate initial level classrooms is very emotional, because as the governor said, education is what brings out “A country ahead, in an educated and healthy country, greater potential is generated, that is why from our area we accompany while reinforcing our vaccination campaigns.”

The head of the Education portfolio, teacher Susana Montaldo, celebrated the coincidence of this inauguration with the 250th anniversary of the birth of our hero. “Manuel Belgrano fought so hard for Education and so that Indians, mestizos, blacks, women could have access to Education, a fundamental element to maintain democracy and a better democratic coexistence among citizens.”
