After the declaration of the agricultural emergency established by the Ministry of Production of the province, the General Irrigation Department (DGI) announced benefits for producers. The measures seek to respond to the damage caused by the storms of hail occurred during the summer.
Through Resolution No. 687 published this Monday in the Official Gazette, the DGI It established that those producers who have suffered damage to their production will have a series of benefits. The beneficiaries will be those owners or holders of properties with rights to surface water and groundwater and precarious permits, whose properties are duly certified by the Directorate of Agriculture and Climate Contingencies.

Those who are covered by this regime may choose to pay in two ways: in an installment due on August 31, 2025 or through a debt regularization plan in force until August 31, 2025.
The rule clarifies that those who do not pay the balance for fiscal year 2024 by August 31, 2025 in one of the two available ways will lose all the benefits granted, with the exception of the Climate Assistance Fund.
