Homicide in El Bosque: Mother of the accused authorized Carabineros to enter her house so that her son could be detained

What happened?

In the early hours of this Friday, Carabineros arrested a subject of Chilean nationality, accused of murdering a 28-year-old man, also Chilean. The capture was made thanks to the fact that the accused’s mother authorized police personnel to enter her home.

The crime occurred in the commune of El Bosque, Metropolitan Region, within the framework of a fight between the aggressor and the victim.

What is known about the homicide in El Bosque?

According to police records, the crime was discovered at 2:00 a.m. this Friday, after the victim entered the El Pino de San Bernardo Hospital with cut wounds in the chest and neck that caused his death.

After the complaint, Carabineros troops moved to the site of the event, located in Mallorca Passage where they managed to identify the suspect thanks to the statements of eyewitnesses, which is why they went to the defendant’s home.

In said property, with the authorization of the owner of the house and mother of the suspect, they entered the property and detained the subject, who says with criminal record for threats, theft, injuries and contempt, although without current arrest warrants.

Homicide investigation in El Bosque

All the information was delivered to the Public Ministry, which determined that the investigation continues to be carried out by the Homicide Brigade of the Investigative Police (PDI).
