The Importer and Exporter of Medical Resources Company MediCuba SA invited this Monday more than 500 foreign companies, belonging to its portfolio of suppliers, to participate in the XVI of the Health for All Fair to take place from April 21 to 25 of next year, at the Pabexpo fairgrounds.

Under the paradigm of the central theme Universal health coverage and equity based on the “One Health” paradigm, the event will be a setting to evaluate the results of previous editions, relationships with suppliers, as well as the search for new products and markets.

In statements to the press, Dr. Armando Garrido Beravierte, president of MediCuba, stated that the last fair saw the participation of companies from more than 28 foreign markets, 61 national companies and new forms of economic management.

“Health for all” will serve for the reunion of friends who have opted to maintain commercial relations with Cuba; agreements, contracts and memoranda of intent will be signed that will strengthen the ties between the parties, the manager specified.

He stated that this event is the most important exchange in the health sector in the nation and advanced the interest of Chinese companies and Addima of Egypt in establishing commercial relations, in the midst of a complex scenario.

Garrido Beravierte emphasized that the combined effects of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States and the international financial crisis inevitably limit the processes aimed at carrying out fairer foreign trade.

He ratified that health in the Caribbean nation is an objective prioritized by the State and the Government and has been recognized worldwide as one of the most fair, humane, competent and supportive systems in the history of humanity.
