Daniel Sancho will be tried this Wednesday in the Criminal Court number 16 of Madrid for the alleged commission of a crime of injuries related to an attack on a person in the queue of a taxi registered in 2019.

Rodolfo Sancho’s son is in preventive detention in Taliandia for the murder of Colombian doctor Edwin Arrieta. Therefore, he will testify by videoconference. Despite this, no images of him will be able to be seen by rejecting the east end room. The trial will start at nine in the morning in the courts on Julián Camarillo Street in the capital.

The events occurred around four in the morning on November 9, 2019, when the young man was near José Abascal Street in the capital. At one point, he proceeded to get into a taxi without respecting the queue. After that, a person reproached him for his attitude and Sancho responded with a punch to the head.

The Madrid Prosecutor’s Office requests a sentence of one year in prison, as well as payment of civil liability derived from the commission of the crime. The prosecutor describes the facts as a crime of injuries.

Punch in the tail of a taxi

According to the document, the accused, at around 4 a.m. on November 9, 2019, was in the vicinity of José Abascal Street in this capital, when “at a certain moment he proceeded to get into a taxi vehicle that was there, without respecting the queue that had formed to use the public service.

At that moment, he was recriminated by JC. After that, “the accused, with the intention of injuring, proceeded to punch him in the head, causing injuries that took twelve days to heal.” The injured man suffered aesthetic damage due to the breakage of his upper right incisor tooth.

Before starting the trial against the son of actor Rodolfo in Thailand, the defense requested his extradition, something that the prosecutor opposed when he understood that there were “alternative” measures that would allow the trial to take place.

Daniel Sancho is currently in provisional detention in the Thai prison of Koh Samui awaiting the sentence that will be announced on August 29.
