220 Contemporary Culture announced the ninth edition of “NÚCLEO–Cordoban Design Market”

The event is dedicated to the promotion of local design in disciplines such as objects, illustration, clothing, furniture, footwear and jewelry. The fair can be visited from Friday, June 7 to Sunday, June 9, from 5 to 10 p.m., in 220CC (underground of the Plaza de la Música), with free entry.

“NÚCLEO – Cordoban Design Market” is preparing to launch its ninth consecutive edition.

The event dedicated to the promotion of local design in disciplines such as objects, illustration, clothing, furniture, footwear and jewelryoffers a large marketing space and integrates complementary activities such as training cycles, business rounds, interactive art and live music.

With more than 50 participating ventures, in this new installment the fair focuses on sustainability, diversity and entrepreneurship. It extends throughout the 1,000 linear meters of the 220CC rooms and is complemented by free workshops with prior registration, exhibitions in the rooms, entertainment and gastronomy in the patio shared with Mercado Alberdi.

More than 10,000 visitors are expected

Each edition of NÚCLEO attracts more than 10,000 visitorswhich reflects the growing interest and support for Córdoba designers, and highlights the importance of design as a driver of economic and cultural development in the region.

The curatorship is in charge of Magister Moriana Abraham, who provides an expert vision when selecting the participating projects. The general production is led by Sofía Nicolossi, together with the management and direction team of 220 Cultura Contemporánea, ensuring an enriching experience for all participants.

The event has the support of important institutions and organizations such as UNC Culture, the UNC Faculty of Architecture, Urbanism and Design, Collaborative Territory, Alberdi Market, Music Square and Vinyl Fair. These strategic allies contribute to strengthening the design network in Córdoba and promoting local talent at a national and international level.
