LOGROÑO, June 4 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The vice president of the Coordinator of Non-Governmental Organizations for the Development of the Autonomous Community of La Rioja (CONGDCAR)Ana Ganuza, has today estimated the impact of the actions of these entities during the past year at 588,222 people.

The chapel of the ‘La Bene’ building hosted an event in which the Coordinator presented the second report of the Rioja NGO Sector in 2023 to different public officials, including the Minister of Culture, Jose Luis Pérez Pastor.

A report, explained the vice president of the coordinator, of 22 entities (of the 34 that it brings together). She has told how they work in 33 countries, mostly in Latin America.

He has given the “thanks to the entire Rioja social base”, which reaches 20,270 peopleas well as the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, Sports and Youth, which is “supporting the day-to-day life” of the coordinator.

Pérez Pastor has highlighted how La Rioja is one of the communities that makes the most investment per inhabitant in the whole of Spain. Specifically, it is the third, after the Basque Country and Navarra, with an investment expenditure of about seventeen euros per inhabitant.

“Logically, in the field of cooperation,” he added, “we always have to go further,” because “in a world in need of action, all efforts always fall short.” Thus, the “path” of the Government of La Rioja “goes forward.”
