Precipitation that will leave three millimeters of water falling and winds will be the main effects of this climatic phenomenon.

Camilo Gálvez, agroclimatologist and professor at the Santo Tomás Rancagua Institution indicated that “several things must be said about this cyclone, it is effectively an extra tropical cyclone, that means that it is going to be a bad weather front as one knows, and it will to leave abundant rains, especially in the Maule area to the south”

And he added that “Chile, up to more or less the seventh region, has in mind what is known as the anti-cyclone, which prevents bad weather fronts from arriving with great force, but further south, from the Ñuble region, effectively There are low pressures there and that is what is going to be generated.”

Regarding the O’Higgins Region, the expert indicated that “there should not be so much rainfall, nor so many changes this week. We are going to notice something over the weekend,” and added that this Tuesday, June 4 and Wednesday, June 5, we should expect precipitation “that does not exceed two millimeters of water fall, but on Saturday and Sunday there are possibilities of precipitation of over 30 millimeters.”

Gálvez was emphatic in indicating that until Friday we should only have cloudy days and some wind, with greater strength on the coast.

And for agriculture?

The agroclimatologist indicated that “precipitation has continued, and that helps accumulate water, which is very beneficial for agriculture.” And he stressed that “we should not have any critical problems with this supposed cyclone.”
