The Minister of Labor, Gloria Ines Ramirez
confirmed that the granting of the spiral bonus for established compensation has been approved in the 2023-2025 union agreement, which represents 50% of the salary. However, this was a decision that had already been communicated since December 2023, when the minister stated that another bonus for 25% had already been delivered.
The decision was made after demonstrations by some unions at the headquarters of the Ministry of Labor
and that they forced Minister Ramírez to work from the facilities of the Ministry of Agriculture.
After the demonstrations, the minister sent a message to the protesters who blocked the entrances to the premises, affirming that just as people involved in the strike have the guarantees to exercise it, those who have not participated in the demonstrations must also have the guarantees of the right to work.
For its part, The head of the ministry invites union organizations to actively participate in the tables proposals for permanent dialogue.
