(By Máximo Brizuela *). The Regional Union of Light and Force celebrates its 80 years and it is a good opportunity to review everything we have achieved as an institution in these eight decades.
The history of our union organization has always been marked by unity, by the values of fraternity and care for all its members; the great lucifuercista family.
That is why since its founding and over the years, events have occurred year after year that left a mark. Facts that contributed to the construction of a collective history, a story of family, struggle, courage and militancy.
Together, through debate, through the synergy of ideas of the group, through utopias and dreams of collective constructions, we grew as a family that knew how to fight and defend its rights with intelligence in the streets and in every negotiation.
We strengthened ourselves in our thinking and in our conviction to put first the dignity of the comrade who fights side by side for his peers.
We never stopped, nor did we, as they say, rest on our own laurels. Even in the present we continue to bet on the future; sowing collective actions to live up to a future that is increasingly dynamic, that mutates and changes with society.
We are an unbreakable institution that makes the defense of workers’ rights a flag.
Everything we have achieved in these 80 years is inexhaustible, what we made possible thanks to work, commitment and militancy. Always with the desire to do as a driving force, under a collective premise and for the common good.
We never stop pursuing social justice, the interest of all people, of a family, the Luciferic family.
Today we continue to manage with our eyes set forward. The union we dream of is a reality, a present that is improved day by day. A path that we travel together to live up to our history at every moment.

LUCIFUERCIST MERIT MEDAL
Within the framework of the General Body of SiReLyF Delegates, Nancy Montoya and Jorge Apezteguía were awarded the Medal of Union Merit. His militancy, commitment and work for the institution and his colleagues earned him the highest recognition given by the union organization. Congratulations to them, who are a clear example for the Luciferic youth.
