Entre Ríos presented the winter season in Buenos Aires – El Heraldo

The objective of the launch, developed in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA), was to promote Entre Ríos as a nearby destination for tourists and with an infinite number of proposals for the 2024 winter season, considering that the annual calendar presents an end of long week and winter break.
There, the governor thanked the businessmen, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) and the mayors who “with great pride are waiting for the long weekend of June 20 and July 9, because they know that people “he is going to bet on our province.”
In the presentation, which was accompanied by the Secretaries of Tourism, Environment and Sports of the Nation, Daniel Scioli, and of the province, Jorge Satto, the governor highlighted the proximity of the province to the large population centers, added “to the things we have to offer, like our people, their quality, security – which is a very important asset today -, natural beauty, culture and history. “We were the capital of the Argentine Confederation, we produced the first constitutional president, we were the cradle of the national organization and that forged history and culture,” he said.
He recalled that Entre Ríos used to be one of the main wine-producing provinces of Argentina until the famous prohibition law (with the exception of Cuyo) dictated by Agustín P. Justo in 1934: “Today we are on the way to once again occupy that place of privilege and of responsibility, working on having a wine route, like other provinces, to link viticulture with tourism.
He explained that especially at this time when it is a little cold, “hot springs are a real possibility for weekend getaways and we are here to promote them and so that everyone knows about them.” He also added fishing as an attraction, where “there is a lot of interest in the Uruguay and Paraná rivers.”
In this framework, he assured: “We want to receive them in the best possible way, with all the offer we have at our disposal.”

Public and private work,
frontline destination
In turn, the Secretary of Tourism, Environment and Sports of the Nation, Daniel Scioli, highlighted the work carried out by the provincial government to create the Mixed Tourism Entity of Entre Ríos, about which he said: “The tourism industry has the characteristic of having a fundamental ally in the private sector. This innovative initiative will have a very positive impact.
Likewise, Scioli predicted that Entre Ríos will be the “protagonist” of the winter season. He listed “thermal tourism, health tourism, sightseeing, river and beach tourism, fishing and wine tourism” as its distinctive features, also suitable for breaking seasonality.
For his part, the Secretary of Tourism thanked the governor and the national Secretary of Tourism for being present “giving their support.” “This is very important for all of us who are tourism actors and for all the municipalities that are strongly betting on this product,” he said.
“Entre Ríos has been working seriously to be a first-line destination,” said Satto in relation to the province’s potential. And he highlighted the importance of launching in Buenos Aires, because “it is a luxury ticket to visit different places.” “Entre Ríos is one of them, because it has closeness and, above all, a great intention to do it,” she emphasized.
