The computing process in Municipal and District Committees this will start 5th Juneafter which the precise and official results of the election on Sunday, June 2, will be known.
District counts are the process in which the results contained in the scrutiny and counting records of all the boxes in the electoral districts are added. Through this mechanism, the real vote is determined, not preliminary, as in the quick count or in the PREP, which the candidates obtained.
In San Luis Potosí, the State Electoral and Citizen Participation Council (Ceepac) will carry out the sessions Municipal and District Computation starting this Wednesday and until Saturday 8 of June.
In accordance with the regulations, it is necessary to carry out a new scrutiny and counting of the vote in a polling station according to the following causes: signs of alteration, when the results of the minutes do not coincide, obvious alterations in the minutes, if there are no minutes corresponding, if the number of null votes is greater than the difference between the candidates placed in first and second place or when all the votes are for the same candidate.
In the case of city councils, a total recount of the votes can be carried out when between the candidates or lists that have obtained first and second place, there is a difference in the result of less than three percent, in accordance with what is indicated in the Article 401, second paragraph of the Electoral Law, there will be a total recount.
Ceepac reported that there are nine municipal elections that are susceptible to a total recount in the municipalities of: Alaquinswhere there was a difference of 0.0685 percent; Armadillo of the Infante1.2409 percent; Axtla de Terrazas0.9176 percent; Mexquitic de Carmona0.4836 percent; Salinas0.6496 percent; Saint Anthony1.3894 percent; San Ciro de Acosta1.2921 percent; Santa Maria del Rio1.5296 percent, and Tampamolón Coronawith 1.5204 percent.
In the case of the assignment of proportional representation deputations and councils, the Ceepac will meet next Sunday, June 9 to receive the electoral documentation and calculate the votes received throughout the state and thus proceed with the respective assignment.
