Dionisio Rafael López Ramoswas a children’s music singer, television presenter and comedian, who triumphed on Venezuelan television thanks to Popy, the famous clown which was born in 1972.
He began his work as Popy on Venezolana de Televisión with “The Clan Club.” Later, he moved to RCTV to start “The Popy Show” (originally Popylandia), which he owned for more than 15 years. Glendy de López, his wife, who played Popyna, also had a presence in the show.
López’s goal was always to promote learning, comedy and the love of music. For 25 years he was singing to children and that helped him be recognized not only in the country but in many parts of Latin America. “Gabo” as he is known in the artistic world, He is 33 years old and lives in Miami. Since he was little, he managed to get into Venezuelan television thanks to projects such as “The Disney Club”, “Intimate Rags”, “Anyway Rosa”, among others.
Additionally, in his role as a singer he was part of the duo “The Kchorros”, which he formed together with the Venezuelan actor, José Ramón Barreto. Lopez is married to Fabiola Arace and is working in the American city with his independent production company called Blue Morpho.
