Minister Tadeo García Zalazar agreed with representatives of these foundations that training will be launched to continue reinforcing inclusive, equitable and quality education. An action aimed at early childhood and the first cycle of primary school.

This Wednesday, the Minister of Education, Culture, Children and DGE sealed an agreement with the Natura, Perez Companc and Bemberg foundations to carry out joint actions. Tadeo García Zalazar continues to strengthen ties with different institutions in the public, private and civil society spheres with the aim of strengthening education.

Together with Florencia Mezzadra, representing Natura; Josefina Peire, for Perez Companc, and Lucía Bunge, from Bemberg, the leader of the educational portfolio agreed to launch training to reinforce initial literacy in Mendoza.

After the signing, the general coordinator of Educational Policies, Adriana Yenarópulos, pointed out that “from the ministry we understand that literacy begins from early childhood, in rooms of 3, 4 and 5, and continues until the first cycle of primary school.”

Along these lines, he explained that the foundations “will reinforce the work that has been carried out in our province, particularly with training and policies that they have already applied in Brazil, where they have great track record and experience.”

Furthermore, the official reflected that, within this framework, “we continue with the task of improving our results in learning, fluency and reading comprehension. We are also going to do it in mathematics.”

Finally, he concluded that, after training teachers, “we are going to measure together. We will do very strong work between 2024 and 2026, because we understand that the country is looking at Mendoza, the policies it has been applying and that have been very successful.”

In this way, through inter-institutional cooperation, the training of qualified human resources, research tasks and execution of programs that promote inclusive, equitable and quality education for girls and boys in the province will be launched.

Finally, Natura, Perez Companc and Bemberg join the Government of Mendoza in the task of cooperating in the development and strengthening of education and literacy, as well as promoting well-being and improving the quality of life with a focus on education , culture, science, technology and health.
