La Rioja Oriental presents the first paper tourist guide with “all its benefits”

The residents and establishments of the five valleys that make it up now have the first paper tourist guide of La Rioja Oriental. As a complement to the digital application, the Association for Rural Development of La Rioja Oriental, in collaboration with its Ruta del Vino, has published 1,700 copies of this guide that covers its cultural, heritage, tourist, festive and gastronomic resources.

Through 66 full-color pages, it offers a general presentation of La Rioja Oriental and a location of each valley: Leza and Jubera, Cidacos, Alhama-Linares, Ebro and Ocón. “The objective is to highlight the tourist benefits by showing the visitor the experiences that can materialize with the help of our eighty partners, including establishments and city councils,” explained yesterday the president of the ADR La Rioja Oriental and mayor of Arnedillo, Pedro A. Montalvo.

With the purpose of being didactic, light and practical, the guide highlights the collection of festivals of regional and national tourist interest in the area through a calendar to reinforce the choice of date for the visitor. And it highlights gastronomy through the quality distinctions that products such as wine, pears, oil, mushrooms and mushrooms or plums receive, in addition to companies with the Artesanía de La Rioja seal.

As a script, it shows the reader sections on what to see, do, eat and visit in each place. “After years working in the territory, there is a set of resources to offer group visits to each valley,” invites the people of the Association, Esther Rubio, to tour them.
