Parents of the Club Leones educational institution, García Herreros headquarters in the La Unión neighborhood, demand the hiring of cleaning personnel.

More than 140 children would be affected by not having personnel to carry out the cleaning in the institution. Which led to them actually taking the routes.

“They are charging us 10 thousand pesos a month, which is supposedly for cleaning and copies, but this is not reflected. There are no toilets, the bathrooms are dirty, the classrooms are also dirty, we don’t see any harm in our children sweeping or cleaning, but they go to school to study.” said Greici Neira, leader of the sector.

In the same way, it ensures that “The necessary aid for the school does not arrive, there are more than 130 children, we have asked the Ministry of Education for a response, but so far it has not been possible to obtain it, much less the mayor’s office.”

For Tuesday “We plan to hold an assembly or sit-in at the Ministry of Education, so that there is attention to the institution and the children, because we can’t take it anymore,” said Neira.

For the moment, classes continue as normal. It is expected that the municipal education office will rule on the matter.
