The Javeriana University of Colombia opened a call in which it offers 22 free, virtual and massive training courses through Javeriana X, a virtual education project that has trained more than 1,400,000 people around the world.
These high-quality courses in Mooc, which stands for Massive Open Online Courses, do not require a professional degree to be taken and certification is optional. Its purpose is provide quality training to people who cannot access a formal classroom or who need to quickly acquire knowledge for their job placement.
“Javeriana Free access courses that can be self-managed or with teaching support“, managing to dispel spatial, economic and educational barriers, by taking advantage of all the opportunities that virtuality allows,” said César Tulio Ossa, director of the continuing education department and leader of this program.
Among the courses that can be taken there are several options, among which the following stand out:
- Lights, cell phone and action! Create impactful audiovisual content
This course teaches students how to generate creative content using a cell phone. Throughout the program, participants will learn about the pre-production, production, post-production and monetization phases of the audiovisual product. Registrants who complete at least 80% of the program will receive a free certificate issued by the Javeriana University in partnership with Google.
- Fundamentals of Blockchain Technology (cryptocurrencies)
With the arrival of Bitcoin and crypto assets, the opportunity arose to use a new technology that reduces costs, generating a competitive advantage for those who adapt first. This course explains in detail what Bitcoin is and the exchange of cryptocurrencies through blockchain, in addition to addressing the main applications of this technology and the challenges for its adoption.
- Adobe Illustrator, learn to create impact presentations
Participants will learn design concepts and the use of the different tools available in the application. This online course teaches how to create presentations with clear messages and impactful designs, promoting more effective communication.
- How to communicate in digital transformation?
This course, carried out with the support of Google, offers an understanding of the new digital scenario and teaches the use of emerging tools and technologies to develop skills in creativity, innovation and digital disruption in the field of communication. It is aimed at communicators and other professionals interested in the impact of digital transformation on their social or institutional work. Registrants who complete at least 80% of the program will receive a free certificate issued by the Javeriana University in partnership with Google.
- Agile project management
The objective of the course is to teach project management in the context of the new digital economy, providing tools and knowledge to make agile decisions that keep organizations current and allow them to anticipate possible changes. At the end of the course, the user will understand and adopt concepts such as the evolution and adaptation of projects, digital transformation and innovation.
- The art of selling, introduction to sales
The course teaches you to develop sales skills and negotiation techniques, establishing processes that facilitate the purchase by customers. In addition, the participant will learn to create value proposals that transform the characteristics of their products or services into differentials and benefits.
