Claudio Echeverri is one of the great gems that River’s youth teams have brought out in recent years. He was already sold to Manchester City and Moments ago he was chosen among the 30 best young players in the world from a list published by the renowned French newspaper L’Equipe.
The Chaqueño is the only Argentine soccer player included in the list of the 30 players with greater projection. He was above other big stars like Vitor Roque, an 18-year-old Brazilian forward who plays for Barcelona.
To put together this top, the French media took into account only to those footballers born after January 1, 2005 (Echeverri is 18 and from 2006). Furthermore, there are only two South Americans in the top ten: the Brazilian Endrick (4th) and the Ecuadorian Kendry Páez (8th).
The youth who heads the list is the Spanish Lamine Yamal, who at the age of 16 settled in the First from Barcelona and has even been called up to his country’s national team. Secondly, it is located the Frenchman Warren Zaire-Emery, from PSG, and the Englishman Kobbie Mainoowho plays for his national team and for Manchester United.
