General Treasury of the Republic reported that it concluded the 2024 income refund process, to 17,350 taxpayers in the Aysén region, for $8,806 million pesos. Of these returns, 97.370% were made by electronic transfer; 2.35% via check and 0.27% through payment by BancoEstado cashier.
Coyhaique.- “This year, exceptionally, we brought forward the rent refund by more than two weeks, from the first half of May to April 26, which was our first massive refund process. Additionally, we make withholdings and compensations during this work, in accordance with the powers given to us by current regulations,” said the Regional Treasurer of Aysén, Juan Andrés Galilea.
In this evaluation of Operation Income 2024, the service in charge made legal income withholdings from 1,318 taxpayers, for $221 million. Treasurer Galilea pointed out that most of these corresponded to withholdings for solidarity university loan debts owed to 464 taxpayers, for $107.8 million; of Credit with State Guaranteed, to 171 people, for an amount of $33.8 million and for withholdings of alimony to 118 cases, for $27.7 million. These last taxpayers were obtained from the National Registry of Alimony Debtors, which is administered by the Civil Registry and Identification Service.
Meanwhile, the Seremi for Women and Gender Equality of the Aysén region, Andrea Méndez Valenzuela, stressed the importance of the retention mechanism that allows more women to be able to decently access a commitment that does not expose them, but rather grants justice to the rights of mothers and their children. “We see how the institutions work and that there is no longer, nor will there be a soft hand, for those who want to refuse to comply with their obligations,” she emphasized.
“This year, in the rent return process we managed to meet this challenge in a timely manner and with high efficiency. We saw that the number of taxpayers who declared their income increased, as well as the considerable increase in the withholding amounts for people who entered the National Registry of Food Pension Debtors,” said Juan Andrés Galilea.
Along with the above, he reported that, during May 15, 23, 29 and 30, returns of surpluses from the solidarity loan delivered during the pandemic (2020 and 2021) were made. The Regional Treasurer of Aysén, Juan Andrés Galilea, reported that those who wish to obtain information about these transfer processes can directly access the link https://www.tgr.cl/consulta-renta/.
