This weekend, Puerto Aysén will experience a great day with the first participatory workshop “Naturalista Aysén”, an event that seeks to develop an educational and entertaining day for lovers of the flora, fauna and fungi of the area.
The project is funded by the National Fund for Cultural Development and the Arts (Fondart), and is organized by the illustrator Monitos Vole and supported by the municipality of Aysén, NOLS Patagonia, the “La Chalupa” workshop, the Ajora Cooperative and the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Service (Sernapesca).
The day will feature talks, samples and workshops. In addition, there will be a series of ventures passionate about the flora, fauna and fungi of Aysén. There are workshops for ages 10 and up, some require a monetary contribution, while others are free.
Below, we leave you some workshops and their requirements.
-Natural Illustration Workshop (10 to 13 years old). Contribution: 10 thousand pesos, includes materials. Registration at: (+569) 40186884.
-Natural Prints: Experimental Engraving Workshop (from 12 years old). Contribution: 15 thousand pesos, includes materials. Registration at (+569) 86018754.
-Collective Biographical Mapping Workshop of the Flora of Aysén (general public). Free. Registration at (+569) 97512912.
How to attend the talks and workshops?
To attend the talks you just have to go and participate, no prior registration is required, except for the workshops where you must register by calling the number corresponding to the one you want to attend. The “Naturalist Aysén” workshop will take place this Saturday, June 29, from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., at the Puerto Aysén House of Culture, located at 695 Sargento Aldea street.
