The authorities in Medellín is on the trail of the person responsible for the murder of a woman on the night of Wednesday, June 5, in the Belén San Bernardo neighborhood, west of the capital of Antioquia.
The report from the Information System for Security and Coexistence (Sisc) indicates that The victim was identified as Dary Del Consuelo Buitrago Jiménez, 51 years old.

Unofficial versions from residents of the sector indicate that the woman was the owner of several businesses in the neighborhood and that this crime would be a settling of scores.
This hypothesis has been neither confirmed nor ruled out by the authorities, who are carrying out the respective tasks to determine the motives for this crime.
With this case, there are now 11 women who have been murdered in the capital of Antioquia so far in 2024.
It is one less case compared to the record for the same period of time the previous year, according to Sisc data.
Likewise, this is homicide number 8 in Belén, three cases less than in 2023 and it is the fifth commune with the most violent deaths in Medellín after Centro (24 cases), Castilla (14), San Javier (11) and Robledo ( 9).
