The Ministry of Public Companies supervises a wide range of strategic companies for the country, including AYSA, Argentine Airlines, Casa de Moneda, Military Fabrications, Road Corridors, Télam, Radio and Television Argentina (RTA), Belgrano Cargas y Logística, Railway Operator, Banco Nación, Nucleoeléctrica Argentina SA, ARSAT, Correo Argentino and the General Administration of Ports State Society.

Chaher, a law graduate from the University of Belgrano and a master’s degree in Business Law from the Catholic University of Cuyo, held leadership positions in business groups and legal studies, such as Grupo Supercanal and Grupo América Interior / América TV.
