The national deputy of Tierra del Fuego Hector “Tito” Stefani (PRO) aimed against his peer Rodrigo de Loredo (UCR) due to the proposal it made suggesting that the National Government cut the Industrial Promotion Regime to achieve fiscal goals, in the debate for the new retirement mobility formula.

“There are many things to resolve when one analyzes Tierra del Fuego, and I think it is totally defensible. We Fuegian and Patagonian deputies have to change our position, come to the Chamber and tap our feet. Because when you start to analyze what these people are defending, De Loredo is a bastard.”, he criticized in dialogue with FM Masters.

Stefani also expressed that considered the Córdoba deputy as a “young politician with a great future”but he again questioned the position he has on the tax benefits to the island and maintained that Córdoba presents a similar situation with the automotive industry.

The amount of subsidies that Córdoba receives from the automaker because they assemble just like we assemble, and it is equivalent to what we receive in Tierra del Fuego. And do they have the nerve to say Tierra del Fuego?” he pointed out.

And he added: “I explained 300 times to De Loredo that Tierra del Fuego does not receive subsidies like Córdoba, they are tax exemptions. It’s not that he doesn’t understand it, it’s easy to hit the province if you’re 3,200 kilometers away and there are 200,000 inhabitants. Sometimes they eat a slap”.

Finally, the PRO deputy announced that has prepared a defense to expose all the subsidies that Córdoba receives and will present it in the next session of Congress during the debate on the Trademark Law.
