A priest’s car was stolen in Neuquén: he asks for help to recover it

Last Sunday, priest Daniel Lorente suffered the loss of his car after a robbery in the area of ​​Belgrano and Mascardi streets, in the city of Neuquén. The vehicle is a petrol gray Volkswagen Suran with patent NDD 933. The car is crucial for his pastoral work, he requests help to find it.

The incident occurred on Sunday morning, when Lorente was leaving the chapel to go celebrate mass at San Martín de Porres. He told RADIO RÍO NEGRO, that “He parked his car in front of the chapel, leaving the key in his glove compartment pocket as he usually does, while he closed the gate and put the dogs away.” At that moment, he observed two people crossing the street, one of them carrying a car tire, which caught his attention.

As he closed the gate, he heard his car start up and when he turned around, he saw the individuals taking the vehicle away. The robbery occurred in the Manuel Rodríguez and Belgrano neighborhoods, near the chapel where the Sisters of Mercy girls’ home previously operated.

Immediately, Lorente called the police, who came quickly and the corresponding complaint was made.
