Torres communicated the start and reactivation of national works in Chubut

The governor of Chubut, Ignatius towersled a press conference with the provincial secretary of Infrastructure and Planning, Nicolas Cittadini.

In it, the start and reactivation of priority national works for the development of the province were announced.

The conference was held in the training room of the Rawson Provincial Highway Administration.

“It is not an agreement that was made from one day to the next. We worked with the mayors. Among the works, we decided to take charge of the Trelew – Madryn double track that has not been completed for 18 years and is a paradigm of corruption “said Torres.

The provincial leader explained that the construction tasks in the province “will be done without issuing debt and using own funds,”

“If we find a financial mechanism with positive leverage, we will be able to do many of these works in a short time,” he announced.

Those companies that are carrying out these works may continue them, but, if not, they can terminate the contract so that the Executive can carry out the corresponding tender.

The signed agreement means an investment of 150 billion pesos for the resumption of the following works:

• The construction of the RN 3 Rada Tilly – Caleta Olivia highway
• Paving of RN 260 junction RP 51 – Huemules International Pass.
• Rehabilitation and maintenance of Malla 630 RN 25, Las Plumas.
• Repair of RN 25 Las Plumas – Paso de Indios.
• Improving conservation RN 40, junction RN 26.
• Improving conservation RN 3, junction RN 27.
• Maintenance RN 25, Rawson – Trelew.
• Works on RN 25, Las Chapas – Las Plumas.
• Maintenance RN 25, Las Chapas – Las Plumas.
• Rehabilitation of RN 25, Gaiman – Dolavon.
• Rehabilitation and expansion of the Rada Tilly sewage treatment plant.
• Water treatment plant and new Rawson aqueduct.
• Repowering of the Musters Lake regional aqueduct.
• New intake of Arroyo Buitreras, aqueduct and complementary works of Esquel.
• Expansion of the water treatment plant No. 1, intake and pretreatment work, Stage 1, of Trelew.
• Dam source of the Senguer River.
• Maintenance of Mesh No. 632 RN 40, section Estancia La Paulina – Junction RN 259.
