During this significant meeting, between the Security Secretariat of San Juan and the Ministry of Defense of the Nation, important problems regarding emergencies at the national level were addressed, with the objective of articulating coordinated actions between the national government and the province. The importance of working together to guarantee the safety and protection of citizens in emergency situations was highlighted.
Likewise, it was agreed to plan and execute actions in conjunction with the National Government, as well as to carry out reciprocity agreements for assistance and training to strengthen emergency response mechanisms throughout the national territory.
This meeting reflects the commitment and willingness to work as a team as Governor Marcelo Orrego expressed on several occasions to provide an effective and coordinated response to the different problems that may arise in terms of emergencies. Collaboration and coordination between the Nation and the province are essential to guarantee the safety and well-being of all citizens.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary of State for Security and Public Order, Gustavo Sánchez, who received in his office the Undersecretary of Planning and Executive Coordination in Emergencies, Colonel Marcelo Rozas Garay, and the National Director of Articulation of Municipal Policies and Assistance in Emergencies, Facundo. Quiroga of the Ministry of Defense of the Nation, and to the Director of Civil Protection of the province of Mendoza, Facundo Quiroga.
