The meeting with Guillermo Francos

The vice chief of the Interior Cabinet, Lisandro Catalán, participated in the meeting; the secretary of Provinces and Municipalities, Javier Milano; the Secretary of Public Works, Luis Giovine; the Secretary of Territorial Development, Habitat and Housing, Rodrigo Aybar; and the Undersecretary of Habitat and Housing, Santiago Sánchez Sorondo.

The Minister of Government, Infrastructure and Territorial Development of Mendoza, Natalio Mema, was also present. According to what was signed, some public works will be transferred to the province, while others will remain under the orbit of the Nation.

From Mendoza They insisted on clarifying that there is a differentiation in the request from what was agreed with Ignacio Torres (Chubut), Rolando Figueroa (Neuquén) and Martín Llaryora (Córdoba), to whom works were transferred so that the province is in charge of completing them.

Since the inauguration of President Javier Milei, Cornejo has been in tune with its economic policy, so in some way the Government is committed to repaying that loyalty. Even at the beginning of the week, the Mendoza president authorized the ruling bloc in the provincial Senate to modify an article of the province’s Constitution to give constitutional status to the fiscal balance in its lands.

Francos’ visits

The head of ministers began on Monday with the signing of transfer agreements for more than 80 public works with the governors of Jujuy, Carlos Sadir; from Entre Ríos, Rogelio Frigerio; and from Chaco, Leandro Zdero.

“In joint work with the Ministry of Economy, the Secretariat of Public Works and the governors, we agreed to distribute responsibilities regarding the continuation of certain works. Some will continue to be in charge of the National Government, while others will do so under the orbit of the provinces. “Francos knew how to declare.

Although on Tuesday he was in charge of other activities, on Wednesday he managed to seal similar commitments with Ignacio Torres from Chubut, and closed the afternoon with the visit of Rolando Figueroa from Neuquén.

He also met with Martín Llaryora from Cordobaand although there was no signature, there was talk of the commitment to the “future transfer of public works to the Government of Córdoba.”

The Peronist Osvaldo Jaldo, president of Tucumán, but dialogue with libertariansjoined the meetings in Rosada and last Thursday signed “two framework collaboration agreements on public works and housing that contemplate the transfer to the province of various works that until now were in charge of the national government.”
