Dressed up and fussed? For this reason, delivery of the certificate to Galindo as elected mayor of SLP was postponed.

Despite the fact that the municipal president of San Luis Potosí is licensed and re-elected, Enrique Galindo Ceballosannounced that on June 6 he would be given the certificate of majority that accredits his victory for re-election as mayor of the capital of Potosí, failures and recounting of minutes delayed its delivery.

The delivery of the certificate was scheduled for 4:00 p.m. this Thursday, June 6, but was postponed to 8:00 p.m. of the same day; However, until now the delivery of the minutes to Enrique Galindo Ceballos, which establishes that he won with nearly 180 thousand votes from the people of Potosí, remains on hold.

Through social networks, the licensed municipal president announced that the delay in the delivery of his certificate of majority, which accredits him as the absolute winner for the mayor of San Luis Potosí of the June 2 electionsit is because there was a technical problem in the system of the State Electoral and Citizen Participation Council (Ceepac).

“I fully trust the electoral authority, there is nothing to worry about, we will be patient and respectful of the times established by the law,” Enrique Galindo commented in a publication.

For its part, Ceepac announced, this Friday, June 7, that the recount of the minutes of the elections for municipal presidency of the capital had concluded since June 6; However, there was a slowdown in the general functioning of the system.

Additionally, he indicated that the result, that is, Enrique Galindo’s victory over Sonia Mendoza is correct and that the delay is due to the information captured; However, he assured that the generation of the report “does not in any way compromise the certainty or legality of the results.”

It will be during the day that the corresponding minutes will be delivered to the re-elected municipal president of San Luis Potosí, Enrique Glaindo Ceballos.
