Until the SIXTH CIVIL COURT OF THE CIRCUIT by the judge MARIA ELENA ARIAS LEAL the demand came SINGULAR EXECUTIVE established through the judicial representative by JOSE ELBERT MOSQUERA RODRIGUEZ against JORGE ENRIQUE ACEVEDO PEÑALOZAto decide on its admissibility.

This is another million-dollar debt, which the current president of Cúcuta would owe to Mosquera Rodríguez. Money that, according to the document, was loaned for October 2023.

Following the above, the Court resolved:

  • First: RID payment order in favor of JOSE ELBERT MOSQUERA RODRIGUEZ against JORGE ENRIQUE ACEVEDO PEÑALOZA.
  • Second: ORDER the defendant to pay the plaintiff within five (5) days following notification of this provision, the equivalent sums of money

to: NINE HUNDRED MILLION PESOS M/cte ($900,000,000)for the capital contained in the Bill of Exchange without collection base number.

b. For the current interest on the unpaid capital balance from the October 3, 2023 and until January 12, 2024at the maximum legal rate established by the Financial Superintendency.

c.- For default interest on the unpaid capital balance from the January 13, 2024 and until full payment of the obligation occurs at the maximum legal rate established by the Financial Superintendence.

Lawyer José Gregorio Botello is the legal representative of the plaintiff. Botello was the one who also revealed months ago an alleged debt of the president for one billion pesos. At the time, he assured that There were several letters signed by Acevedo and that were pending payment.
