Signing of Agreement between the Argentine Basketball Confederation and the Argentine Red Cross for training in First Aid and CPR
In a joint effort to promote training and awareness in first aid and CPR, the Argentine Basketball Confederation (CAB) and the Argentine Red Cross have signed a collaboration agreement. This agreement will allow training and awareness processes to be carried out aimed at the students of the CAB Institute, under the program titled “First Aid Awareness” and “First Aid and CPR.
The main objective is to raise awareness about the importance of having basic knowledge in the application of initial first aid and CPR techniques. This knowledge is essential for all professionals who carry out their tasks in the sports field. The training seeks to prepare participants so that they can collaborate effectively and safely with people who suffer accidents or sudden illnesses, until the arrival of a medical professional.
The program has specific objectives that participants can:
• Acquire Basic Knowledge: Participants will obtain fundamental knowledge in initial first aid techniques.
• Act with Precision and Safety: They will learn to act quickly, effectively and safely, adapting to the specific needs of each emergency situation.
• Develop Proactive Attitudes: The development of attitudes that allow them to act appropriately in emergency cases will be encouraged, contributing to a safer and more prepared environment.
This agreement will not only strengthen the training of CAB Institute students, but will also promote a culture of prevention and effective response to emergencies in various institutions and organizations in the country.
