They reinforce attention tools for agents of the Undersecretariat of Labor

The training school of the Judiciary develops intensive training days on approaches and advice on labor matters for agents of the province.

The Ministry of Labor and Labor Development and the Superior Court of Justice of the province are implementing a training plan whose main objective is to reinforce and update the fundamental notions and competencies of the Undersecretariat of Labor as the highest administrative authority in the matter.

To this end, more than 80 agents from the undersecretariat will be trained in basic notions of provincial law No. 1625, which is the agency’s framework law. In addition, the main problems addressed by the portfolio in terms of individual labor claims and individual and multi-individual agreements will be worked on.

The training cycle began yesterday in the auditorium of the Neuquén Legislature and will continue with a weekly meeting until July 4 inclusive. The teachers are specialists in the subject: Dalma Tejada is a judge at Labor Court No. 5; and Sergio Cosentino is a former civil and commercial judge and professor of the Department of Labor and Social Security Law at the National University of Comahue.

At the beginning of the activity, the Undersecretary of Labor, Pablo Castillo, was present, who highlighted that “by working together with the Judiciary of the province of Neuquén we were able to coordinate this training, and provide more tools to each worker of the undersecretary.” He also thanked the agents for “the willingness to train to improve service to citizens.”

One of the days will be dedicated to developing alternative ways to resolve labor conflicts; aspects of mediation, conciliation and arbitration. In other meetings the concepts of administrative approval will be worked on; formal and substantial requirements for the issuance of a homologous resolution; compliance and non-compliance with the resolution, among others.

The session was attended by the member of the Superior Court of Justice, Germán Busamia, the provincial deputy Francisco Lepore, and the person in charge of the Training School of the Judiciary, Maria Lorena Spikerman,

The initiative has the objective of highlighting and returning the fundamental role that the undersecretary must play in relation to conflicts, mediation and advice on labor matters throughout the territory of the province.
