The second ring road toll begins operating on Sunday – News

The company Caminos de las Sierras informs that from 0 a.m. on Sunday, June 9, the new toll station located at kilometer 0.498 of the second ring road.

The authorization to collect tolls on that route was authorized by the Public Services Regulatory Entity (Ersep) through General Resolution No. 56 dated April 23, 2024 and published in the Official Gazette of the province of Córdoba on May 17th.

Caminos de las Sierras explained that motorists who pass through the toll station on provincial route E-53 (located near the Córdoba Airport), or the station on the second ring road with a time difference of no more than thirty minutes between both stations, they will pay for a single pass.

To access this benefit, the company explained that users must show the corresponding payment receipt or, if they are members of the Patent Reader Dynamic Toll, the same system will automatically issue the bonus.

In the case of those homes where there are two vehicles, Caminos de las Sierras explained that there is the possibility of linking both patents to add passes and “access greater benefits.”

To join the Dynamic Toll System, interested parties must complete the procedure via the web on the page www.caminosdelassierras.com.ar, completing a form.

Adherence to the system is free of charge and consumption is paid in arrears by debit from a bank account or with Visa, Mastercard, Naranja, Cordobesa, Diners Club, American Express and Cabal credit cards.

The second ring road is a new route incorporated into the Córdoba Access Network (RAC), which is located seven kilometers north of Circunvalación Avenue of the provincial capital and which was enabled for vehicular traffic during the year 2023.

The trace has a extension of 12 kilometers that allow connecting Route E-53 Córdoba – Río Ceballos Highway with Route A-174 on the way to Colonia Tirolesa, crossing the Córdoba-Juárez Celman Highway and Route 9 North.

The new route was built by Caminos de las Sierras and has a bidirectional road 7.30 meters wide, three-meter shoulders and illuminated distributors.
