Businessman Allan Scalzo died due to alleged medical negligence

Allan Scalzo was arrested on May 17, after sufficient evidence was collected that directly linked him to the Saghair crime, which occurred in 2019.

According to Prosecutor’s Officethis homicide was the product of revenge by the businessman, who had hired two hitmen to kill the banana farmer due to an extramarital relationship that he had with his wife.

Scalzo was taken to a prison center, and in the midst of the judicial proceedings to legalize his detention, charge him with the crimes and give him security measures, he presented health problems that forced him to be transferred to a care center.

Days passed and the hearings could not take place due to Scalzo’s inability to appear. After more than 15 days, a guarantee control judge completed this preliminary stage of the judicial process, ordering the businessman to be sent to jail.

However, this measure was not possible to comply with, because Scalzo’s health condition continued to deteriorate, forcing him to be admitted to an Intensive Care Unit.

The judge indicated that, once the doctors discharged him, the defendant should be transferred to jail, but this never happened, since this Saturday morning he suffered an arrest cardiorespiratory that cost him his life.

Until now, unofficially, it has been said that Scalzo had acquired a bacteria in a food he consumed; However, there is no confirmation about the exact causes of his death.

It should be noted that Allan Scalzo had been under investigation since 2019, when the Haled Saghair crime occurred. The Prosecutor’s version indicates that this powerful businessman became obsessed with Saghair, whom he discovered having a romantic relationship with his wife.

From that moment on, he began following the banana farmer, even renting an apartment in front of Saghair’s residence and planning his murder, for which he hired two people to whom he would have paid the sum of 5 million pesos.

Allan Scalzo even changed his name to Vicente Oliva Gómez to mislead the authorities. He also gave a press conference where he stated that he had nothing to do with this bloody incident.

However, the investigations continued and on May 17, the Prosecutor’s Office ordered a search of his house, where they found him with a firearm that was also confiscated. This Saturday, doctors at the Miraculous Clinic reported his death in the early morning after suffering cardiorespiratory arrest.
