Religious belief is an aspect that has gained great strength in different literary genres, which is why writers have dedicated months and even years to investigating it, as did the Vallenato writer Iván José Ochoa Campo with his work ‘Jesús Nazareno de Valledupar ‘.

During the II Valledupar Book Fair, FELVA 2024, the work ‘Jesús Nazareno de Valledupar’ was presented, with the support of the Mayor’s Office of Valledupar, which is based on a historical review, also showing what it means for the parishioners and Catholic community.

This work is a brief historical review of what the brotherhood of Jesús Nazareno de Valledupar is and has been, a congregation that for many years has been acting within the framework of Holy Week in what has to do with its organization and development. . This work was born because there was no written text about a brotherhood of Jesus.”indicated the vallenato writer.

According to Ochoa, the investigation and collection of information to obtain the investigative result was under the knowledge of the older brothers, which today can be exposed to their parishioners and those interested in learning about the practices carried out by the congregation.

“This opportunity is something very important, for which I want to thank the newspaper EL PILÓN and the Mayor’s Office of Valledupar, for this second fair, where we can publicize this recent work, so that the community in general has access to it,” concluded the writer.
